What size dehumidifier do I need?

I've got some moisture in the basement and am looking at dehumidifiers. However, I can't find any consistent guidelines as to what size to get. Some sites I've checked indicate I would be fine with a small 30 pint, others have indicated that I need to spring for a 70 pint or larger.

My basement is about 820 square feet. The previous owner had problems with basement moisture, as she had a B-Dry perimeter drain system installed. We don't get pooling water (at least, we haven't yet in 9 months), but the hygrometer down there usually is between 60 and 80 percent humidity during the summer months.

Anyone have any size guidelines, or even brand recommendations?

Thank you so much!
