Wet Insulation and Drywall

The builder building my house insulated, vapour barrier and some drywall in the house with any siding on it and then it rained.
There is spots between vapor barrier and insulation with water present.
Some drywall that was on floor got wet also.
Questions. Is the insulation ok?

The drywall they said will be ok once it dries out, is this ok?

The drywall on the floor should not be used. I just was at a $700,000 law suit after wet drywall was installed (the second time!).

The fiberglass insulation will not dry out unless it is moved and air is forced through it.

Fiberglass does not absorb water, but it holds moisture and any dirt, sawdust, etc. is mold waiting to be covered. Fiberglass with moisture held in it also has a dramatically reduced insulation value.

Wasn't here any house warp or exterior moisture barrier installed? I assume he had windows installed in Alberta before drywalling.

Sounds like, maybe the roofing shingles weren't installed yet, or maybe the windows weren't in?

There is a serious issue if interior materials got wet when it rained. Incompetant/careless contractor is at the top of the list.
How did the rain get in? Was the house roofed and windowed?
As stated before, remove all the effected insulation. If it can't be dried in a reasonable time, replace it. Use it in the attic when it does. Wet sheetrock is used to fill a dumpster, not put on walls.

Thanks for the help, The builder roofed, shingled and put windows in. Did not wait for house wrap and siding. I told him and he said insulation will wick out any water. The insulation was not saturated , it had water run down beside it after the rain came in a few small cracks. I'm not sure what to do other than take a thousand pics.

The contractor has a vested opinion. Which means it's useless. Pull out any and all, wet, damp, or moisture compromised insulation. Failure to do this will cause problems to you and your family after you move in.
If it were my house, this clown would be in 55 gallon drum buried next to the foundation.
