Waterleak on exterior wall during rain

I just noticed this recently. I think it occurs when there is heavy rain, and/or might depend on direction of rain. Didn't notice previously anyways.

See photos. Tracing the wet water flow, it appears as if water is leaking out of the stucco'd exterior wall (at the middle, not top from ceiling/roof). Above the wall is the roof with eave.

Is this leak likely result of roof leak or something else? Roof looks ok, though not perfect/100% water impermeable per the roof inspection (had some issues here and there).

Why might water leak out at that particular point in the wall? (and not leak from inside walls (which thankfully it didn't). Is it how the framing is done such that water would flow that way? Sadly can't tell condition within walls w/o tearing it up.

It looks like water is getting behing the stucco, then leaking wherever it can find an exit. Not good. The moisture can rot out sheathing, structure .......everything. Find the problem quickly.

It would be helpful if you would post a picture of that side of the house, from the lower 3' of the roof all the way down to the foundation.

Most likely water running down the "drainage plane" behind the stucco:

is being obstructed by a horizontal construction detail/defect, and is leaking through the stucco where it finds an opportunity to do so.
