Water in Basement Caused by Hyper Barric Pressure

I live in Central New Jersey and between the months of June thru September I experience a slow leaking of water along one wall of my basement. I believe Hyper Barric Pressure is the cause of this in the hot summer humid months. Does anyone experience this and what can be done to resolve this issue. thanks, joe

Humidity would have nothing to do with causing a leak.

How much rain have you had in that period? It could be due to the amount of rain or the draingage not being right. Excess water in the soil would cause hydrostatic pressure that can force water through cracks or cause the wall to fail.

Do you have any drain tile (exterior or interior)? If you do not or if they have plugged or failed, the result is more water in the soil and greater hydrostatic pressure.

Since it is only one wall, it probably is not due to a rise in the water table.

Have you checked your gutters and grading?
