Want to build a garage but got this response from the building inspector.


I spoke with a planning & zoning guy from our city at a chamber function recently, and I asked him about the rear yard requirements for an accessory building and he told me that you have to leave 30% of your rear yard open, so you can build on 70% of it.

I thought that was very liberal. In fact it is a bit hard to believe.

That is why I fight tooth and nail not have over baring regulations. I always take time to go to the planing committee meetings city counsel meetings voice my objections ect.. Sorry you live were you can't use your land.

O'Malleyman never met a thing he didn't tax. Maryland already has a "flush tax." It's supposed to generate funds to replace/upgrade failing septic systems.
