Wall sweats. Living space ajoining garage

The wall separating my garage (unheated,no A/C) sweats like mad in the summer when I have the A/C on in the living space on the other side. What is an easy way to fix this?

Detailed information:
2X4 wall stud wall
Metal A/C duct work flush with drywall in the wall (no room for insulation between duct and drywall).

Would furring out the wall to 2x6 and the addition of foam board insulation between the duct and garage drywall work?

Thanks

The issue, as you probably know is condensation, created by the warm, humid air meeting the cooler air, so yes, something along the line of what you described is needed. The other issue, which again, you probably already know, but which does not provide the physical evidence that you have with cooling, is that you must have a huge heat loss on that wall as well. That said, you could do something like you suggested, whether local to the duct or along the entire wall, or, if space permits, you may want to frame it out a full 2x4, to allow space for fiberglass insulation, such as I assume the rest of your home has, which would provide much better insulation. If space permits, you may also want to consider changing to a floor vent, rather than a wall vent, so that you could insulate the existing wall, as well as behind the vent.
