waiting for concrete to dry

jimmy21 liscenced electrician   Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Oregon coast Posts: 945	waiting for concrete to dry I cut a trench in my basement floor to put a drain in for a bathroom. Its all ready to go except im waiting for the concrete to cure a little bit before i drill holes and set anchors to screw the toilet flange down. How long should i wait before i drill out for these anchors?

frenchelectrican " Euro " electrician     Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: WI & France { in France for now } Posts: 4,952	waiting for concrete to dry IIRC it will be anywhere from 48 to 72 hours depending on which type of cement you use. { the slow drying cements will take up to a week } Merci. Marc
