wait time from first thinset coat to redguard app

Never did ceramic tile install before,,can you tell? How long from taping corners seams and screw holes do you wait ,,,cure if you will,,before applying redguard??? one coat only or is it like drywall and require multiple coats of thinset on tape and seams???

this is in a rental that one responsible male says he can take a bath in tub without splashing walls,,how much time between tape thinset coat and trying a bath,,,want it at least finger touch dry??? we are having high humidity and up to last week high temps BUT central air is up and running fairly often,,,thinking apply in morn, will it be decent dry by evening???

And while we are on it,,is there a cure time from last redguard install to applying ceramis tile???

thanks for all info--d--

What are you taping - drywall around a tub/shower? If yes, should not be drywall - rather cement board of some sort.
