Vinyl Siding hours estimate per square
I have been building homes, boats etc for years in different areas of the US and the world. I am trying to find an hour per square estimate for vinyl. I have done repairs where I have moved windows and doors and rplaced that section. But never a whole home.
I would gather info at a boat yard I managed of 60 similar yachts and their varnish costs. Averaging them gave me an "average price" had a high for a complete strip and rebuild anda low for a scuff and top coat.
I understand doing a barn side with no windows is simple and fast. I am looking at a complex job. I home with a few add ones. An attached garage, porch recessed into the front, changing profiles and gable ends, celler entry "house", shed dormers, some with no overhand and some with overhang with 7 corners to cut around on cable ends.. very very few straight runs with lots of very long cuts due to low pitches on roofs. I have seen estimates of 100 to 400 a square but these don't list hourly rates or locales.
I am looking for an experienced answer on "approximate" hours per square for clear runs and very choppy short runs with lots of windows and cornices and change in elevation of surface due t shingles overhang in gable.. Pictures of the house are in "my pictures" and
I figured about 25 squares..
thanks in advance..
