Vinyl lattice

Existing Vinyl Fence, Add Lattice to top?
Hi there, we have an existing vinyl fence that's just not tall enough for the privacy we want. I've been searching and cannot find anything regarding this.

Is there a way to add about a 2ft section of vinyl lattice to my existing vinyl fence? It'd be pretty simple if this were wood... The vinyl has me stumped though.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Got a picture.
I can not think of any way to do this and have it look right.

If this is your first post, then how could you have posted it here before?

Anyway....to address your problem...

I did something similar with wood on top of an existing block wall. I made short (2') posts out of 4x4 redwood...and attached those to the wall. In your case, you would need to find a way to attach them to the vinyl posts...or...install new longer posts.

Next...I used the lattice that has the border around it...you can get the vinyl the same way...you just hang those between the posts.

Just be aware that in most areas....any permanent fense over 6' is usually not allowed....

You might want to look into a natural fence....bougainvillea is a good one...

Question

Vinyl lattice

Thanks for the response. This question had been posted in the past by someone else.(sorry for the confusion). My main concern is that I have nothing to attach the vinyl sleeve to. The other concern is if I attach the sleeve to a 4x4 how can I mend the seams of the vinyl post( existing and new 2 ft) together?
