Vaulted ceiling insulation

New Construction. I have a vaulted ceiling that is 4.2/12 pitch. Is it ok to use blown in cellulose at this pitch or will the insulation eventually slide down towards the eves?

Thanks

Vaulted ceiling insulation

You should consider batt insulation of spray foam.

I agree.

Your pitch is not steep, but I would over kill the area and go with spray foam!

You can have it blown, and it won't slide. Foam of course is great, but if cost is a factor, go with cellulose. You can have the installer shoot it wet and it will "stick" and not go anywhere.
