Hi

I have seen a video about " delta ms membrane " installed on the inside of a basement wall!!. would it work as well if I used 6mm plastic sheets to cover the block wall, then 2x4 the walls ,insulate and wrap with 6mm poly again , or am i causing vapour problems ???

I live in central Ontario, and remodeling a basement after having a french drain installed.

Never have two vapor barriers, like poly. Water will get trapped; rot and mold will happen. IMO, no poly in basements. Your wall needs to breathe to the inside, as it can't breathe to the outside because of the dirt. Seal outside the house well; leave the inside of the wall vapor open. Check here for articles on vb's.
