vapor barrier question in dirt crawlspace w/ sump

So one other question I had was on configuration, although I think I know the answer... I can think of 2 ways to configure the pipes, which one would be better?

I think option 1 with each of the legs terminated with a cleanout is probably the better configuration for maintaining the pipes. Option 2 might be better for catching more of the water before it passes the border of the exterior wall... Then again, it might be better to stay away from it with plans to excavate and pour a foundation wall in the fiture.

I always believe in the KISS theory! [keep it simple stupid] on my jobs!
There are too many bits and pieces with #1, so my choice would be #2
