my basement wall is poured concrete, exterior has 1 inch foam board insulation, interior is bare concrete. Do I put the vapor barrier, 6 mil plastic against the concrete wall then R-19 then sheetrock? or Insulation, vapor barrier then sheetrock? thanks
Generally speaking, it's insulation, vapor barrier, and then sheetrock. Imagine faced insulation, where the vapor barrier is stapled on the stud with insulation contacting the foundation.
