Updating 80's Style Colonial Home

What suggestions might you all have on things that could be done for a "reasonable" cost...lets say 30K to create a fairly dramatic change to the curbe appeal to an 80's style colonial home. I found a random pic of a home like what I am meaning from a broker site. I'm thinking wrap around porch, or changing siding, etc What thoughts do you all have...post links to pics if you have examples!!! Thanks in advance. See link to pic below...
