Tyvek and roofing felt

There will be a class action suit some day. Hope I’m around to cash in on that one.

Thanks again LP.

Tyvek and roofing felt

every thing that was said about seeing moisture under a plastic wrb Ive seen also under felt,I've seen felt rot and get brittle under siding also
alot that has been said about early versions of tyvek are not necessarily true now

that being said i can't fault anyone for relying on a tried and true material like felt

Is this what you are referring to as felt wrap?
http://www.homedepot.com/Building-Ma...atalogId=10053

how do you seal seams of felt? Or do you just overlap layers from the bottom up?

What about Weathermate Plus Housewrap? Better/worse than tyvek and/or felt?

Good thread!
