tuckpointing garage

i live in chicago and need tuckpointing done asap is there a minimal temp. that the outside should be day and night to complete this project correctly.

you can tuck at any temp if you tent the project & add heat but, for most work, 40f & rising is a good rule of thumb & trowel,,, there are additives that can be incorporated into mortars/cements/concretes but i've never been a fan even here in ga we don't work in freezing temps unless directed by the owner or gc who then accepts the responsibility for failed work.


if you hear it from a guy in the apron store, be VERY suspicious the mtl/method will work,,, when it time to build something together, they won't answer phones NOR help
