Tuckpointing


What is the best way to clean the mortar residue from the bricks. Have tried muriatic acid, but is not effective on this project.

i think you are soppossed to wait until the mortar is thumb push dry, then srub the residue with a wire brush then rinse it off with a light spritz of water. i would try the wire brush, i just did some and it worked. the early the better. it sounds like yours already dried.
