tub and hardie backer ?

Hey guys got a ?. Im doing my new bathroom and there is a window on the left side when facing the water spout. Plans did have this window in the tub area. Bathroom is 5x8. Im using hardiebacker in the tub area. I had to add a 1/2 inch to the studs to get the hardie past the tub lip. Aight so ? is should I seal all the window framing with like a sticky window flashing then have it over lap onto 15 felt paper then the felt paper over lap the tub lip also. All this behind the hardiebacker. Only downside of this is im thinking if the water does get behind the hardie ontop of the felt then it will just sit at the bottom where the lip is since that will be caulked on the outside. So the water will not run into the tub .. Any help would be great. Just trying to seal off this window best i can from the shower..
