Truss style roof and load bearing walls?

Is it true that with truss style roofs, my interior walls should not be load bearing?

Our huge master bedroom has no "load bearing" walls so I am sure the couple of small walls in the master bedroom/closet are not load bearing, but am wanting to make sure!

Trusses can often bear on interior walls. Most simple trusses bear only on the exterior walls. We have no way of guessing without at least some pics.

Your post is pretty confusing. "Is it true that with load bearing walls, my interior walls should not be load bearing?"

I really don't know what you mean, maybe you can rewrite this to make more sense.

Here are a few pics of the walls I am wanting to come down...I have not been able to get up in the attic to take pics of that yet! Hard to tell anything in these pics, but here they are!

Best I could get showing the bedroom and the wall seperating it from the bath room area... This wall is staying!

Basically all the walls I gutted to the studs I want gone...

For some reason, every wall I have stripped sheetrock from in this house had the doubled stud on top...not sure if it means anything or not!

The two door openings went into what was a huge closet. The whole plan is to shrink the closet by walling it off in between where the two doors were, with the wall running to the right in the pic. This will leave everything open from that wall towards the toilet (where this pic is from) If it helps, the trusses in the attic run the same direction as the wall studs shown in this pic.

Truss style roof and load bearing walls?

I always consider any wall running perpendicular to the ceiling joists as being a load bearing wall to some degree!

Those pics don't tell us anything. Is the roof a straight forward typical gable? Are you sure you have trusses and not rafters? The double top plate is standard procedure in bearing and non bearing walls.
