You’re not the only one with Trex issues. Post #261 in this thread is a Trex rep that has posted here a few times expressing an interest to help.

You may what to e-mail her directly. I for one would be curious to what her response will be.

actually several composite deck companies are having issues with their products.. some of the companies are actually honoring the warrenty other installers are giving the homeowner the run around..

earlier this year i was called to replace composite decking for a client.. the builder fed them a bunch of bs for well over a year... finally the homeowner found out who the manufacturer was.. 1.5 days after sending a email. new decking was sitting in their driveway.. the builder wanted to charge top dollar for their 3rd rate crew to replace it.. i did it instead to have another satisfied customer

Hello, I'm a representative of Trex and would like to help. Can you email me at question@trex.com? Thank you.

Make sure you get back to use and let us know how it all works out after contacting the rep.
There's a few thousand people on here just waiting to make sure they treat you right and using that info for future purchasing decisions.

If they offer money take it and purchase Fiberon Horizon instead.
