Transition between drop celing and drywall

I have a drop ceiling that hangs down 3". I just laid some drywall so I have a 2.5" deviation. What can I do to adjust for this difference? I was considering a piece of drywall cut and attached to the drop ceiling with adhesive, or maybe a piece of the drop ceiling tile cut like that.

Ideas?

THX :D

I just bought some of this crown, let me hold it up and see if it does an OK job.
