touch up stipple ceiling

I have repaired a leak around a skylight but the stipple shows water stains and a small amount has worn off. What is recommended for stipple repair? I have seen a spray-on stipple at Home Depot and have also painted over stipple but could use advice from the pros and/or those with experience. Thanks.

touch up stipple ceiling

I use setting type mud for quick repairs, no sanding, usually 20 min. or 40, depends on how many/big areas to do. A brush or roller, depends on the type of texture, sometimes mini-hopper but move fast w. 20, lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAxNL...feature=relmfu
