I bought a home and discovered the hardi plank is attached directly to the exterior studs; no house wrap, no styrofoam insulation , no sheathing. Should I be concerned?"

I have sen it done that way before while doing demo on a pre existing structure. if you are located in a humid climate then yes, worry. if you are located in a dry climate then not so much

Thank you. It's in Nashville so I'm a little worried. i don't know how to remedy the problem without just taking off the siding and adding sheathing or at least house wrap. I don't suppose adding house wrap in the interior of the attic would help?
