Tips on mixing mortar mix correctly.

jrepp Newbie   Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 28	Tips on mixing mortar mix correctly. Hi, I am laying some CMU's with type S premixed mortar mix. I am getting the mix either too wet or dry, any tips on mixing this correctly? Thanks, Jim

Mix it somewhat wet, to pancake batter consistancy (and throughly), then let it rest for 15 minutes, then shake it up again, and it will be just right. __________________ Advice is free, Lessons begin at 75 bucks an hour.
