Tile selection for shower floor

Hopefully you don't mean seal, you meant to say caulk, right? To save time I try to caulk once the tiles are set before grouting. Otherwise things can get smeared. So, if the tiles are set, I caulk before leaving for the day, then grout the next day.

It can be done either way, but sometimes it'll add more time to the job.

Note: I am still a bit confused by your question. Kinda sounds like you're asking about silicone as in sealer, not caulk. We wouldn't wanna do that.

Sorry, yes I meant caulk. Never really thought of caulking first, until reading and was just curious as the best way? looks like I'll caulk first, Thanks

As for lighting, it's just a small basement stall, and I only installed a waterproof 4in. LED light.

Some caulk and grout questions, as I'll be doing soon.

1. I plan on Silicone caulk on inside vertical tile corners, is it better to caulk the floor to wall tile or grout?

2. Caulk or grout drain strainer to floor tile gap?

3. Decided on not using an Epoxy Grout , and have Permacolor or Tec Power grout as my 2 choices. Tec is ready available, whereas Permacolor I might have to order? TEC Power Grout adds seem like the ticket for a non epoxy for a wet area with similiar features, mainly stain resistant, but read many failures and bad reviews with it. So go with TEC power grout, or wait and order Permacolor?

Thanks
