Default tile on concrete slab

Hello to all,

I am in the process of closing in my car port which is a 10x20 concrete slab. The slab is 4-4 1/2" in good condition basically level/flat with no cracks at grade.

For the floor I want to lay porcelain tile. My question is: Is it best to simply adhere the tile directy to the concrete or should I put down a membrane like Ditra? Any serious advantage/disadvantage of one way or the other?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I title my entire family on concrete slab with wood looking tile (about 400sq ft). You just use regular mud and lots more if you need it leveled
