Threshold recommendation

Threshold recommendation.

I am considering moving my front door to another location. I have a 2x4 stud exterior wall with plywood sheathing exterior built on a slab. The eves extends 27" beyond the exterior wall. The grade beyond the slab is about 4" lower.

If I recess the new front door into the house by 24", the floor levels on the inside will be equal to the outside that will be like a small porch about 24" deep x 84" wide.

To combat the potential water issue when it rains, what is the recommended slope required for 24" away from the door and what threshold could I use without raising it too much and avoiding a potential trip hazard?
I am trying to do this without having to tear up part of the slab

Mike
