Supporting a door on raised floor

What's the best way to support a door on a raised floor?

I know the left/right sides should have king and Jack studs and the top should have a header support resting on the Jack studs. But what about the area below the door? Should I add supports between the wall's bottom plate and the ledger?

There will be two steps leading up to this door from the garage. So the new floor height will be about 14 inches.

Thanks for any advice!
