stucco in winter?

Hi there, I have two questions about stucco.
1. Is there any simple rule I have to follow to put on stucco in California winter? Like no rain after a couple of days...

2. My house is covered by paper and metal lath. How long can the paper last before it be damaged by UV and rain? (How soon should I put on scratch layer?)

Thanks a lot!

stucco in winter?

If you haven't yet, I'd suggest you read about stucco on greenbuildingadvisor.com before you do anything. It is discussed there often, and there may be some things you should consider before applying it. j
