Default Stucco lath around new windows

Do I need to put a j channel around my new contruction vinyl windows? and whats the proper way to secure diamond mesh?

my windows already had a channel around them so I would say yes to the first part and I put my lath up with a roofing nailer and roofing nails it was a lot faster then trying to nail it by hand

did your windows have a little lip around the outer edge of the frame too? Ive been wondering what its for. Got these windows at hd supply so the info attached is pretty minimal.

yeah if we are thinking the same thing they did.I got mine at a surplus shop near me they were grandview windows but were just like an anderson when put side by side but a hell of a lot less expensive
