Stenciling concrete

I want to stencil my patio to look like stone. I've seen it done on YouTube and looks easy enough but I do t know where to begin. Does anyone k ow the steps, what the best products are, and everything I'll need? I would like to tint the base layer because that'll be my "grout" color. Can anyone help mr out? Thanks

gee, it looks easy on tv & u-tube,,, this is our work & there's nothing i can recommend to you as the materials're usually only avail to licensed artisans,,, historically, that's because the uninitiated, ignorant, & stupid make a mess then expect the supplier to bail them out,,, you can find some of the right stuff at a const supply house that will work IF you prep & apply it correctly ! ! !

having been part of 1 of those tv shows for diy channel, 1/2 hr show took 2 days,,, in face, stenciling has a different definition to us in the craft - good luck !
