Steel Ceiling joist

I need to figure out what gauge joist and spacing I need for a 10' high 20 x 27 suspended ceiling. I can attach my ledger into the steel framing studs of the building or do I need a supporting wall below the ceiling for more support? I need also install a waterproof ceiling material and insulate above it. Tim

Steel Ceiling joist

I'm lowering a ceiling down @ a coal power plant and I need to use metal ceiling joist. The span is 20 feet. What size joist do I need and ledger. The reason for lowering the ceiling is to insulate and drywall so the room can be heated better. ttilton
