Steam Shower glass enclosure help

I need glass enclosure for my steam shower. I have been quotes from $2500 to $3500 by 3 companies that I contacted so far.

$2500 quote was for frameless with channel. The size is about 8' x 5' -inline.

Is that a good price? I was told that small channel wont show up much . Is that true. They told me that the door will not be airtight . with some gaps at some places. isnt a steam room supposed to be without a gap...i understand it cant be 100% airtight but I dont think there should be any openings.

Please help if you can.

Steam Shower glass enclosure help

There has to be some space around doors, or they won't work, and they are usually sealed with vinyl strips. Ask for specifics about gaps if you are that concerned.
