Spilt Candle Wax on Unfinished Deck

Hello all:

My wife accidentally spilt citronella candle wax on our deck. The deck is made of PT wood and has yet to be stained/finished. My question is: What is the best method for removing the wax so we can get to staining?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I actually tried searching the forums to avoid any duplicate threads. Unfortunately, the site won't let you search the word "wax."

You can use paint thinner to dissolve wax. Remove any globs and use the thinner. Let it dry and sand the surface.

If you want easier just take out your clothes iron and put some paper towel over the wax. Iron the paper towel and it will soak up all the wax. Cleanup then becomes ridiculously easy and no sanding required.
