Sonotube spacing

I'm planning on building a shed in my back yard, approximately 16' x 20'. What is the recommended spacing between sonotube footers to build the shed on?

Sonotube spacing

You can put the sonotubes wherever you want.

What is important is what the shed structure has for bearing points or supports.

Are you building a very small "pole building" type structure or a framed shed off a platform or beams? If the second, what can your support beams span?

Sonotube spacing

I was planning on a framed shed on a platform. Based on some of the other research I've done, it looks like 8 feet will probably suffice. I'm planning on submitting the drawings and getting a permit, so when the muni reviews the drawings, they should weigh in on the spacing.
