Small basement bar (kitchenette) plan
I am working on a small kitchette / bar plan for the basement... I have a rough idea right now, but wasn't sure if I am doing it right or not... attached is a rough plan. How does it look? the entrance into it is 3' of clearance, I think that is the smallest I can go? the bifold is entry into a storage pantry area.
I think I have down pretty much what I want, I haven't designed cabinetry before, not sure if anything is wrong.
I did want the 45 degree turn just to add some depth to the bar area..
not exactly sure how to get the final measurements on that angle though.. the cabinet is 15" wide, 24" deep.. is 24" deep to deep for a bar? or should this be more like 18" cabinets. I am doing a 2 tier bar, the inside of course is the sandard 36" inches height... the 2nd tier is 6 inches above that and is 1 ft wide (its not shown on the plan)
any suggestions? anything I am just missing or doing wrong in the design?
