Slight lean to car port

Hi All,

I just noticed that my car port has a slight lean... about 1 to 2 degrees off plumb. The attached is a quick wire frame view of what it looks like and it's leaning to the left...

Any suggestions on how best to correct it?

You will need to add lateral bracing to the columns in both directions or brace it off a stable stucture.

You probably have post that are just boltes to the slab - this does not provide any lateral strength to the roof.

I gues the tricky part is how do I bring it back to plumb? Or do I just brace it as is so it's doesn't shift any more?

come-along and cable around top plate, attach to something real solid, plumb it slowly, then brace it up. Nearby tree, neighbors house
