Sliding Glass door Issue - Where to find a slightly smaller than 'normal' door

Hey all,

I have a sliding glass door that is in serious need of replacement.

I had my contractor out - and when he was doing the measurements he saw that the door I have is slightly smaller than what he said was 'normal'.

He measured from 'joist to joist' where the door fits between and got 70 5/8 inches. He said normal was about an inch more than that.

The height was also a little smaller than normal.

Where can I find sliding glass doors like this? I am not looking to spend a lot - and I would prefer not to spend the $$$ to have my contractor re-do the doorway.

Any info is greatly appreciated!!!!

Talk to a good lumber yard, not usually a big box store.
Or grab the yellow pages and look up door and window companies.

If you have to get one custom made it may be cheaper to change the size of the opening and make it bigger.
