slate over new concrete


I just added concrete to the existing front door threshold to install a screen door. The newly poured concrete is 2 inches W x 44 inches L x 3 inches D. How long do I have to let it dry before I lay slate over it?

what makes anyone think this will be a permanent installation ? 2" x 44" x 3" expect cracks & delaminating slate

if you hear it from a guy in the apron store, be VERY suspicious the mtl/method will work,,, when it time to build something together, they won't answer phones NOR help
