Size of Frieze Board for Horse Barn?

36' x 60' Horse Barn....10' ceiling height in the barn (1st floor)....9/12 pitch roof with a loft on top of the first floor ---- about 23' to the peak....rake board on the gable end measures about 24'....9' 6" height on the eaves.

Going with 6" Versatex Corners....Should I go with 4" or 6" Frieze Boards along the rakes and eaves....which will look better aesthetically?

Thanks for the help!

Size of Frieze Board for Horse Barn?

T-111 siding...8" O.C.
on the 60' side (under the eaves):
- 4" window & door trim...
- 7' dutch door height under the eaves 3' clearance from soffit
- one window 6' long x 42" height .....3' clearance from soffit

36' side (gable end):
-12' x 10' main sliding doors on 1st floor
- 5' x 6' loft door.... 5' clearance from peak
- windows are low on 1st floor centered on 12' panels on each side of main barn doors ---- windows are 36" x 42" (non-factor)

Looking at band board above main barn doors (where the track will be mounted)....probably 10" or 12"

This is new construction, so just ordering and planning right now.
Opinions? Is 6" too wide.....4" too narrow?????

Thanks.
