Size a dumpster for me?

Hi,

I'm gutting approximately 2000 sf of paneling, furring strips, and acoustic ceiling tiles in my house. What size dumpster do you think I should go with? How much would you look to spend? I live in eastern PA, if that helps.

Thanks

Doesn't your township have a spring clean up about now I am in eastern Pa. Check with them if they didn't already have it. My township takes mostly anything you bring them. I am in Lehman twsp Pike County. Ours just ended this past Sat. it was 5 days long. I brought four trailer loads of construction debri from my house, (my trailer is 5'X12) it was piled up 5 feet high. If you really need a dumpster try to estimate what size the pile is gonna be and break in down into yds. Waste management has 20 to 40 yarders. And they weight it to figure how much you would owe them. Or call them and they will help you.http://www.wastemanagement.com/wm/services/homes.asp

If you stack it correctly, 1 40 yarder should be enough. It will probably cost you about 400 bucks or so...At least that's what it would cost here in So. Cal.

I just had a 12 yarder for a gut of my kitchen and I should have gotten the 15. I went over the weight limit which was 2 1/2 tons. It cost me about $500.00 in all after the extra for the over weight. I'm in northern NJ so the price might be a little higher around here (everything else is!). I think the 12 was $389-420 and the 15 was 450-500 something in that range.

Thanks all. A little more than I expected so I'm glad I asked.

I'm in Montgomery County, unfortunately I don't have the sweet trash removal you have in your township, James Con.
