sinking front porch

I am trying to repair my front porch. It has two brick steps and then an aggregate landing. The landing has sunk two inches in the rear and is slightly raised in the front. I think the space underneath is hollow. I need some tips on how to replace the concrete slab. My idea is this: break up the existing. Lay rebar front to back approximately 4" lower than the finished surface. Lay corregated galvanize metal then pour in new concrete.

The base the landing was set on was not proper. Set the new landing on something better.

There is a process called mud jacking, where mud is forced under a slab to raise it. It is not suited for every situation but might work for yours. Consult someone that does that process.

Fill the space with properly compacted fill. Don't try to bridge it with rebar.
