Sill replacement after foundation work

Guys - I just had a section of foundation repaired/replaced. The mason left the new foundation 1.5 shorter than the original. I've had to add another sill plate and make a repair around the basement window. I'm attaching a photo of the repair. You guys think this will work? Its a 2x8 sill with a vertical 2x8 next to the window to act as a king stud. If not, I will have to have the mason return and put 1.5 inch of concrete to make up the difference.

Sill replacement after foundation work

Look fine except I think I would have used pressure treated in contact with the concrete.
