I'm assuming you're talking about the siding, not the trim.
Check LP's website for the siding's installation instructions to be sure, but I'm thinking galvanized 8's would probably do the trick. Something with a ring shank would be even better if you can find galvanized ones. Just be sure they penetrate the studs and not just the exterior sheathing of the structure.
Same thing I'm talking about...But described better! I'd also suggest installing strips of 15# felt vertically at the corners behind the trim and the joint between the lap and the trim boards.
