Sidewalk drainage issue.

We have a 22' sidewalk which runs along our house. The sidewalk has settled so the house edge is 3/8" lower than the outside edge. This is causing water to run towards the house and with enough rain into our basement. In looking for a solution we have had quotes for mudjacking ($750) and tear out/repour (waiting for the estimate). One of the concrete guys stated because the walk is in good shape he would not tear it out but would level it and then tile. Would this work? And is it a better solution then mudjacking? Same guy stated mudjacking lasts a couple years at best.

Thanks for your input,

Ben

Sidewalk drainage issue.

just doing that method to a pool apron only we're sawcutting the conc into manageable lengths then, using a bar, raising it back into position,,, it'll work for the pool but i'll bet not resolve the issue w/wtr in your bsmt.
