Shower Windows

I'm remodeling a master bath and will end up with a 5/5 walk in shower. the current windows are cheap aluminum buillder grade that are 12 yrs old. the question is, should I try to replace them with a a standard type window that would have an internal shade for privacy or should I go with glass block that could allow for complete privacy and be less likely to develope leaks? the two window rough openings ar 43 1/4 by 51 1/4.

If your goal is to avoid leaks, then avoid the glass block. Block leaks more than any other window system I've ever seen. In fact, glass blocks are source of the only window leak I've ever seen that leaked from the inside a shower of course.
