Sheetrock compound how cold?
I'm rough finishing part of my barn, insulating and starting to put up some sheetrock, adding some heat but it will only be heated while I'm in it a few hours at a time. Here in upstate NY we can have cold spells where it gets below zero for a few days with highs in the teens and in the summer it may get above 90 for a few days. I was wondering if joint compound would stand the temperature extremes. \
Once it cures it should be OK. I'd be more concerned with dampness infiiltrating the drywall as it goes from warm to cool over and over. You'll be driving moisture in and out of the drywall on a repetitive basis. Maybe someone else can comment further, but I have seen instances where that became a problem.
