Other then black shutters I've never seen black trim on a house.
Steel , aluminum, vinyl would all have warnings on them to never paint a dark color. Causes over heating and will buckle, also cause the paint to peel right off.

Does anyone remember Wood???

It still works, just like it always has.

It takes paint better than anything else I know of.

it is possible to get black vinyl siding but its rare. ive seen it in the cedar ones select vinyl that looks just like cedar shingles.

as for windows and doors.unless you order them from the plant already black your warrenty will be voided by the manufacturer if you paint it a dark color. it creates an issue with faster heat absorbtion and causes the skin to seperate from the core of the door or warp it

stopped and talked to a guy that has it one his house and it is aluminum. Made by a company right close to me, so I am going to call them. Thanks everyone for all your help and suggestions.
