Sealing exterior door

I installed a new exterior door between the garage and house. I am getting ready to seal between the jamb sides and the frame. I want to know, expanding foam, insulation, or caulking? Or some combination of those - I am hearing conflicting things...

You could use low expanding foam, or fiberglass insulation on cracks wider then 1/4". If the crack was less then 1/4", you could use caulk.

Ditto. I chalk around the garage side moldings before installation, fiberglass around the jamb and then chalk underneath the interior trim with latex chalk.

I only use expanding foam when I can control its expansion as not to force windows or doors out of alignment.

Thanks, I caulked the brick moldings before nailing the unit unit, so that's done. I used construction adhesive between the threshold and the concrete sub. I guess I'll use insulation around the jambs - thanks. What a big improvement over the hollow core interior door with a sheet of tin stapled to the back and no insulation or caulking that used to be there.
